Praise, stamps, stickers, merit awards, and privileges are given regularly by all members of staff. These should be further commended by parents. After receiving three merit cards, the children receive a Big Bluey and after three Big Blueys they visit the Treasure Chest to choose a prize. After three visits to the Treasure Chest, students are invited to afternoon tea or lunch with the principal. This system continues throughout the school, from Kindergarten to Year Six. Big Blueys are presented at assemblies and the children's names printed in the newsletter.
